Powerbuilder Programmer Position near Chicago, Illinois - MIS

Job functions include (but are not limited to):
• Consult with clients to gather requirements
• Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls and outputs
• Write and maintain technical specs
• Think creatively to develop, design, or create new applications, ideas, systems or products
• Convert workflow diagrams, designs and specs into computer codes and analyzes codes to correct errors
• QA
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years Powerbuilder and Powerscript
• 3+ years SQL
• Classic ASP and .Net experience a big plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels

Work Hours:
• 8 AM – 5 PM Monday through Friday.
• Hours vary as needed to complete projects in deadline situations.

We are looking for someone who has a minimum of three years of work experience. The salary depends on your experience and skill set. Benefits include health and dental insurance, 401K and vacation time.
