Entry Level Network Administrator/Technical Support

MIS, Inc. is seeking an IT enthusiast for an entry-level position within our organization. Job duties will be split between two separate departments, and included (but aren’t limited to):

• Provisioning Web Sites and Domain Names on Microsoft Windows.
• Troubleshooting mail and web site issues.
• Dispatching to customer locations to perform local IT services.
• Assisting and working as a backup for the Network Administrator.
• Supporting customers both over the phone and via the web.
• Troubleshooting custom built Windows software for customers.

Knowledge desired includes:
• Cisco routers and firewalls.
• Knowledge of Windows 2000 & 2003 Server.
• Experience with Mac and Windows desktop systems.
• Some Linux experience a definite plus.

Applicant must be able to remain calm and focuses during periods of high stress and have a good customer service demeanor when dealing with our clients. Applicant may also be required to be on call.

Applicant must be able to communicate well (both verbal and written).
